Now that the project is swimming in a red sea, I have to be on high alert to defend any stray missiles diverted to my court...
Nothing zaps my energy more than an early unproductive meeting. While various members debated on matters that does not concern me, I sat there, day dreaming and practising my 'kanji' while thinking about the next blog entry, which is what you guys are reading. Lucky you. My misery, your enjoyment.
I did another round of cycling from East Coast park to Changi Village again last Saturday and this time MADE IT in allocated time which is within 4 hours. Practise did helped all thanks to Coach Moo. Before second attempt Moo and me went to one or two Step classes. Yes the muscle is still painful but they are stronger now and I manage to cycle better and faster. This time MCC didn't join us. Instead some of Moo's friend's joined us, think I scared them with me 'zeal' and determination to make it at all cost. They complained they don't even have time to stop and take photo. Pai seh~
They are also impressed with my preparation which consist of:-
- MP3 with all my marathon songs
- Towel
- 2 cans of 100 plus which i wrapped in newspaper with a coolant to maintain it's chill.
- Sunglasses
In the end it's about 30km+ to and fro..
Coach Moo said, the OCBC 20km cycling for me is SSS now. Should enrol for 40km instead. I told her that is suicide. She said with my current record, I should be able to cut it in 1 hour. HO HO HO.....! We see how it goes...
Despite my furious cycling I did enjoy the sights and sounds, there is a section of greenery that made me feel like I had cycled to Narnia. It was so beautiful. It was also the same spot, I almost crash into the bush and fell into sea as I was engrossed watching SIA fly overhead and was not navigating properly. Luckily reflexes still good and severed in time. On the way of home, the sound of crickets (it was night) was soothing as was the balmy wind from South China Sea. I don't mind repeating the experience again even when I had to walk like a crab, sit on a life saver (butt pain) and arrange my underwear on the floor again. On second thought maybe not right now, but some time in future ha ha ha. By the way I found a way to wear my pants already. I prop my right feet up on a chair or the toilet bowl with both hands, slid one side of the pants into the right foot, Lift it down, slide the other pant hole into the left feet and pull the pants up. Ingenious huh! Luckily I just need this workaround for 2 days. By yesterday, right leg recover enough to wear pants normally again :)
Sleepy...
